HEY WUZZUP HELLO HOMIE. Long time no talk! Welcome back to zee blog! So I missed a week of blogging and I apologize! Last week was actually Mililani High School’s graduation ceremony. My little sister, Giscelle, graduated as a Summa Cum Laude Valedictorian. I know, I know. LIKE WHAT?! COME AGAIN?! Crazy. Clearly, all of the smarts passed Mycah, Braiden and I and went straight to her. Haha! I am soooo proud of her. She has accomplished so much in her 18 years of living. I will explain more for sure. But first, here are some pictures that I was able to capture of this special moment!
Giscelle Rosario – Summa Cum Laude Valedictorian
One of the coolest things my sister did this year was become the drum major of the marching band. The Mililani High School Marching Band went to the 2017 BOA (Bands of America) Grand National Championship and placed 29th out of the 100 bands competing. Because of that, she had the honor and privilege of leading her class and directing them in their class song as well as the National Anthem and Hawai’i Pono i, our state song.

“Behind you, all your memories. Before you, all your dreams. Around you, all who love you. Within you, all you need.”
Prior to her ceremony, Mycah, Giscelle and I went to a park by our house to snap some pictures of her with her cap and gown! It was really windy but we were able to get more pretty cool pictures!

And so… the adventure begins, dearest.

This beautiful young woman is such an inspiration; a true gem! I’m such a proud sister because Giscelle set goals for herself and smashed each of them. She has been accepted to a few schools which include Redlands University, Creighton University, and University of Arizona. However, this fall, she will be attending the college of her choice, Princeton University! And so, the adventure begins. Graduation is an exciting time because it’s both an ending and a beginning. It’s a time where we can remember the amazing memories we’ve created but also get hyped about the big dreams we have planned for the future. Giscelle – It’s crazy to think that this is just the start of the rest of your life. This is the part where you find out who you are and what you’re really made of. Who you are, what you want, what you will become is entirely up to you. This is truly the beginning of anything you can possibly want or imagine. I pray that whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy. Princeton is gonna be an amazing journey for you! It’s not gonna be easy but it will be worth it and it’s gonna be one of the biggest things you’ll ever accomplish. Take pride in how far you’ve come and have faith in how far you will go. God has brought you so far already and just remember to keep your trust in Him and who knows how far He will take you. Although yes, you have accomplished so much thus far, just the essence of who you are is inspiration enough. I admire your confidence and your security in who you are. I admire your work ethic and your ambition. I admire your leadership skills. I admire your kind heart and your ability to put others before yourself in this midst of your crazy schedule. You’re such a bad a** boss lady and I love you sooooooo much!
